Dragon Age Inquisition: Voice Commands Planned Using the Kinect

on April 11, 2014 5:09 PM

When Mike Laidlaw, Creative Director of Dragon Age Inquisition, spoke with the official Xbox magazine, he had some pretty interesting things to say about making good use of the Kinect. Much like in Mass Effect 3, the idea is to use the additional hardware to enable voice commands. Does that mean all of us playing on the console will be happily shouting at our televisions while playing? Maybe.

There are also some plans in the works to make use of SmartGlass, the Xbox app for touchscreen devices, but nothing has been specified as of yet.

The game is confirmed to launch on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC this Fall.
