Leading publisher of free to play online games, Aeria Games has announced that the MMO strategy game Dragon Crusade has begun its closed beta. The game has players govern civilization’s rise while reducing rival kingdoms with hordes of monsters. Dragon Crusade can be played from the comfort of player’s web browsers.

In Dragon Crusade, players will create tales of the rise and fall of empires in a medieval world that has an evolving landscape. This constant change will for players to adapt to out do competition and build powerful armies to protect expanding kingdoms.

Players will have six different races to choose from including Dark Elves, Dwarves, and necromatic Azraen. Each race provides a different experience on top of the customizable heroes that can gain levels and obtain better equipment. There is also the ability to gain mounts and pets to use in game.

The game encourages a balance between cooperation and competition by having players form alliances to form a united front against those who may oppose them. Dragon Crusade features a gladiator arena where heroes can battle it out for spoils and glory.

There will be events held during the beta where gamers can earn custom gear and unique items. Events will have gamers trying to produce the most resources, get the best equipment, and be a part of one of the top alliances with prizes offered daily through surprise challenges.
