Today Nintendo held a second day of Switch-themed celebrations at the Tokyo Big Sight venue in Japan, and Square Enix and Koei Tecmo joined forces to present the very first gameplay of Dragon Quest Heroes I – II For Nintendo Switch.

The first video below showcases a special move of the new character that will come with the Switch version, Ragnar McRyan from Dragon Quest IV.

The second video, also gives a glimpse on a new feature for the version on Nintendo's new console, the new boss battle against Malroth (Sydow) from Dragon Quest II. The battle was fought in local multiplayer, but unfortunately it didn't end all that well.

That said, it still gave a very good glimpse on the upcoming game, that looks as colorful and hectic as ever.
