Dragon Quest Heroes Producer “Thinking Positive” About Western Release

If you’re hoping to play Dragon Quest Heroes in English one day, there might be a ray of bright light at the end of the tunnel, as mentioned by Producer Ryutaro Ichimura during the media session after the presentation of the game at Taipei Game Show.

Asked whether the game will be released in the west, Ichimura-san responded:

I want to continue to think positive. Since the Chinese version was announced today in Taiwan, and seeing the reaction, we hope to spread it more around the world.

Ichimura-san also added that the possibility of having English and Japanese dual audio still hasn’t been decided on, but it’s something the studio could consider.

While this is definitely a good signal, maybe we shouldn’t get too hyped, considering that Dragon Quest X‘s Producer said pretty much the same thing, and we saw nothing about that yet.
