Dragon Quest X Gets More Quests, and Better Screenshots

on March 31, 2013 2:38 PM

After GDC many are focusing on the games and engines the Wii U won’t get, but today we can talk about a game that Nintendo’s “new” (depending on the point of view, I guess) console just got – at least in Japan – Dragon Quest X.

After all it’s Sunday, and as pretty much every Sunday it’s time for the customary announcement from Square Enix about new quests to be implemented in the game during the week. This time it’s also a bit more shiny, as the Wii U version has just been released, and has replaced the decrepit Wii as a poster boy for the new screenshots.

This week Dragon Quest X players will be able to access a completely new quest line – or at least its first two episodes – centered on the Erutona continent. The first episode will be released tomorrow, while the second will hit on Thursday  As usual you can enjoy a few related screenshots below, straight from the Wii U version.
