The Japanese manufacturer Hori is well known for some quite interesting peripherals, and today we got something rather over-the-top: themed keyboards for Dragon Quest X, compatible with PC, Wii and Wii U.

The keyboards come in two versions, Dragon Quest X Slime Keyboard and Dragon Quest X Metal Slime Keyboard, respectively for 3,980 and 4,980 yen ($40 and $50).

Many keys are decorated with Dragon Quest X themed icons, and the function keys are decorated with removable 3D slimes. The blue version comes with 13 blue slimes, one green slime and one orange slimes. There’s even a 3D staircase for the ESC key. The slimes can also be arranged into a slime tower. The metal version comes with 12 metal slimes, one liquid metal slime, two blue, one green and one orange.

Below you can see a few pictures. Talk about impractical but really, really cute.
