Dragon Quest X Goes Back to “Two New Quests a Week” Routine with The King of Rangao Village

on April 21, 2013 1:51 PM

Last week Dragon Quest X received just one new quest instead of the usual two, and some wondered if Square Enix was slowing down development of the game due to the poor sales of the Wii U version. Luckily that wasn’t the case and the development team went back to the “two new quests a week” routine this week.

The two new quests will be the first two episodes of a new storyline titled “The King of Rangao Village” that will be focused in the Ogreed continent. The first episode will be released on Monday (basically today, considering that it’s already Monday in Japan) and the second will hit the servers on Thursday.

So, back to business as usual for Dragon Quest X, and as usual Square Enix sent six new screenshots to accompany the announcement. You can see them in the gallery below.
