Square Enix announced today that the Wii U version of Dragon Quest X will be released in Japan on March the 30th, while the beta test will start on March the 6th. The game will be priced ¥6,980, but those that already play the Wii version will be able to get it for ¥3,490.

Dragon Quest X will also get a bundle edition with a premium Wii U for ¥42,000, including the console, a Pro Controller, a ¥1,000 prepaid card for the online shop, the game itself and five consumable items that will double experience and gold gained for 30 minutes.

To celebrate the release Nintendo will also publish a special limited edition ¥3,000 prepaid card for the online store featuring key art from the game, available at multiple retailers and convenience stores around Japan.
