Sony Interactive Entertainment and Square Enix just made Dragon Quest XI available for pre-download in Japan.

Those who pre-ordered the game can now download the whole thing from the Japanese PlayStation Store, and this means that the download size has also been revealed.

The game requires 30.178 gigabytes of your bandwidth, with an initial download of 9.905 gigabytes. That's definitely beefy considering that it doesn't have voice acting, and normally voice tracks take a sizable chunk of a game's install size.

Of course, the game won't be playable until its release, which will happen on July 29th for PS4 and 3DS, with a Nintendo Switch version also planned at some time down the line.

If you want to start downloading yourself and you haven't pre-ordered yet, you can find the game on the Japanese PlayStation Store. Of course, you need a Japanese PSN account to pre-order the game, but if you don’t have one, don’t worry.
