Dragon Quest XI’s Release Teased Before May 27th, 2017

During Dragon Quest‘s 30th anniversary livestream from Tokyo, series creator Yuji Horii shared a little tease on Dragon Quest XI, after it was mentioned at the beginning of the stream that there would be no information about the game.

Horii-san explained, after showing the Dragon Quest XI logo on the big screen and repeating that he could not share new information about the game, that the studio plans to release the game within the 30th anniversary year, and that said window will end on May 27th, 2017.

This can easily interpreted as a tease that the eleventh chapter of the series should be released before then, even if it remains as generic as it can be.
