Dragon’s Dogma Online Coming To PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC

The latest weekly issue of Famitsu has revealed the latest entry in the Dragon’s Dogma franchise. Dragon’s Dogma Online will be a free-to-play title for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC, and will be releasing sometime in 2015 in Japan.

Players will be taking the role of of an “Awakened” and will be exploring  the new lands of Lestania, where you’ll form parties and take on monsters. You will be able to choose between various jobs including Fighter, Hunter, Priest, Shield Sage, and more. You will be able to form parties with up to four players, or you can also play alongside three AI Pawns to form a full party as well.  Up to 100 players will be found in Lobbies which you will be able to chat with and quick-match for parties as well. Capcom plans to add extensive missions which allow players to form parties of up to eight players.

There will be an extensive amount of customization for character creation as well. The game will take place in an open-world which will continue to grow as future seasonal updates come. A “Rage” feature for large monsters will be added as well, which will have a similar effect as in the Monster Hunter series, which increases their damage output.

You will be able to craft items with the help of Pawns, which can create consumable items weapons, and armor. The more Pawns you have in your party, the faster crafting will be, and with better quality as well.
