Today Capcom announced the Japanese alpha test of Dragon's Dogma Online, that will be executed only on PS3.

Applications will start on April 7th at this webpage. The deadline will be April 20th. The client will be downloadable from April 15th and April 30th. On April 15th those selected will also be notified.

The alpha test proper will run between April 20th and April 28th, and a report on Facebook will be made available on May 8th.

Closed beta will follow in the summer for PC, PS3 and PS4, followed by a wider closed beta period later this year.

The alpha test will include only four classes, the previously announced Fighter, Hunter, Priest and Shield Sage, up to level 10.

We also get the introduction of two new classes. Seekers fight with a grappling hook, in a way somewhat similar to Attack on Titan, while Sorcerers use powerful magic to smite their foes.

Below you can see a batch of new screenshots and a new trailer, introducing the game's classes.
