Trickstyle was a classic game from the Sega Dreamcast released way back in 1999. However, on February 21st players will get to go back into the post-apocalyptic world of hover-board racing when Throwback Entertainment re-releases the game on Steam, just over a year after its release on Good Old Games.

The game is set in a futuristic world where players will race on hover-boards in order to attain victory. In addition to races, the game also employs trick mechanics which can be used to help the player win, with over 400 tricks at the player’s disposal to help them achieve victory. The maps used include post-apocalyptic, and futuristic version of Manhattan, Tokyo, and London, all set across 18 maps which can all be accessed from the games hub known as the Velodrome, where tutorials can also be accessed.

To celebrate the Trickstyle’s release on Steam, Throwback Entertainment will also put Gladiator: Sword of Vengeance, a PlayStation 2 title and another of their games recently released on Steam, on sale. Throwback Entertainment acquired many classic games in 2006 when it purchased over 180 titles from Acclaim Entertainment, including Trickstyle and Gladiator: Sword of Vengeance.

Trickstyle will released on Steam on February 21st, the price is currently unknown.
