Back at Anime Expo, Aksys Games announced the North American release of Drive Girls (that launched in Europe on May 26th) by Bersala Lightweight.

Today we learn that the game, that was initially supposed to come on  August 11th, has slipped by a month and will come on September 8th.

We also get a trailer, showing the title's peculiar flavor of transformable cars meet girls, that is a very popular trope in Japan due to franchises like Kantai Collection and Strike Witches.

Of course the game comes with plenty of fanservice, with destructible armor and alluring glances, because nothing says "sexy" like ogling your Mitsubishi Lancer... Oops... LancIer.

The game includes five different characters/cars fighting against bug-like enemies to defend the their base of Sun Island, with both arcade driving and hack ‘n’ slash mechanics. On top of that, we get both a single player campaigns and four-player local and online multiplayer.

Oh, did I say that it's coming as a PS Vita exclusive? That's quite the ballsy move in 2017, but I'm sure the fans of the platforms will appreciate.

You can check out the trailer below, and if you want to see more about the game, more trailers from the Japanese versions can also be found here, alongside a few screenshots.
