The latest Driveclub trailer left many impressed due to its visual fidelity, but Sony Computer Entertainment and Evolution Studio gave no real breakdown of the cars showcased. Maybe it was even intentional, to allow us to discover some of them ourselves.

A few are quite obvious, but many are definitely more obscure, so I decided to pick up my petrolhead detective lens and check out basically every frame to identify every single car included in the video.

Here's the full list:

  • Ferrari F12 Berlinetta
  • Pagani Zonda R
  • BAC Mono
  • Aston Martin V12 Vantage S
  • RUF Rt 12 R
  • RUF CTR 3 Clubsport
  • Hennessey Venom GT
  • Koenigsegg Agera R
  • Gumpert Apollo R
  • Audi R8 Coupé
  • McLaren 12C Coupé
  • GTA Spano
  • Savage Rivale
  • Ariel Atom
  • Alfa Romeo 4C
  • Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupè Black Series
  • Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupè
  • Marussia B2

Update: looks like the list got the stamp of approval by Game Director Paul Rustchynsky:

@Abriael You know what, I think you nailed them all, good work!

Some definitely weren't easy, but below you can see the result of our research, with screenshots from the trailer of each car (some of the galleries have additional high resolution screenshots where available) the official website of each of the rides pictured, and a real life picture for the sake of comparison.

The trailer included 18 supercars, from the most obvious  Ferrari F12 Berlinetta to rare treats for which you have to really squint like the GTA Spano or the Marussia B2. Some were displayed multiple times in different colors (like the RUF Rt 12 R or the McLaren MP4 12C Coupé, but they were still the same model.

Quite beautiful, aren't they?

You can conclude this lovely visual tour by checking out the full trailer just below. Evolution Studios promised to reveal new cars down the line, and I'm sure I'm not the only one that can't wait to see what exotic rides they have in store for us. Given some of the choices showcased above, they definitely have an eye for rare supercars.
