Driveclub Delayed Due to “Polish Polish Polish” According to Sony Dev; Teases Gran Turismo 7 Prologue

on March 20, 2014 11:30 AM

Driveclub was supposed to be a PS4 launch game, but four months later we still don’t have a release date. Today NeoGAF user DemonNite, that is known to work at Sony Computer Entertainment even if his actual position is undisclosed, shared a bit more on why the game was delayed.

As I kept saying, polish polish polish.

When another user mentioned that the game must have been in a very bad condition (in quite harsher wording) back in October to warrant such a long delay, he responded:

Thats a bit harsh. It needed extra work.

Interestingly enough, when someone expressed his hope that Gran Turismo 7 won’t take half a decade to reach our consoles, DemonNite teased:

Are we talking about GT7 or the prologue here ; )

While the possibility that he was joking exists, he’s not the first one to name Gran Turismo 7 Prologue, and hearing it named by someone that actually works at Sony is definitely interesting.
