Driveclub: Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Confirmed in the Game, Soundtrack Possible But “No Promises”

Yesterday Sony Computer Entertainment posted a new blog post featuring the impressive sound of Driveclub, one of the most intriguing parts of the blog was the roar of the engine of a “mystery car,” with the challenge to find out which ride it belongs to.

You can hear her sing below:

Unfortunately my ability to recognize cars focuses on visuals, but Twitter user Turboduck was able to guess right: it’s a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series, as confirmed by Game Director Paul Rustchynsky himself.

Interestingly enough Turboduck also asked if we’d find the following cars in the game:  Audi RS6, BMW M5, Mercedes CLS and Maserati Quattroporte. Rustchynsky admitted that “some” of them will be in the game.

Finally, Rustchynsky also shared that Sony is working to make the release of the game’s soundtrack possible, but he can’t make any promises yet.

Hopefully Sony will manage to release it, whether in physical or digital form, as what we’ve heard so far is definitely  easy on the ears. After all they did go as far as publishing a PS4 app with inFAMOUS: Second Son‘s score for free, and it would definitely be nice for Driveclub to get a similar treatment.
