Driveclub’s Patch 1.04 Rolling Out on PS4; Improves Multiplayer and Fixes Bugs

Driveclub‘s patch 1.04 is starting to roll out staggered by region, promising to bring improvements to the multiplayer portion of the game and to fix a few bugs. Here are the full patch notes:

  • Implements several game-side multiplayer improvements to reduce server load.
  • Fixes scheduled events from occasionally disappearing from the event browser in multiplayer.
  • Fixes incorrect target times/scires from appearing in Time Trial and Drift Events.

Quite interestingly, as you can see in the screenshot below snapped while I was playing the game just a few minutes ago, asynchronous face-offs popped up for a little while, together with challenges. Unfortunately they disappeared shortly after, but it’s possible that Evolution Studios might be preparing to reactivate them.

Since the new patch is rolling out staggered by region, your PS4 might not get it just yet (it doesn’t seem to be available in North America for the moment). If the previous patch is any indication it should be made available everywhere in the next few hours.
