Driveclub Screenshot Shows New Special Paints; No Plans for Damage Model Updates and More

Driveclub is getting a sizable update in December, and Game Director Paul Rustchynsky and Community Manager Jamie Brayshaw have been teasing on what we can expect, also giving info on what is not coming.

First of all, we get a picture of one of the new paints coming to the game, apparently a mica paint.

Rustchynsky explained that more will be shown this week.

If you’re wondering whether Evolution plans to make changes to the damage model of the game, they don’t.

We also get a tease about new upcoming songs.

With the coming of difficulty levels, some have been wondering if skill will become less important, but Rustchynsky explained that those who have the ability will still be able to show it off.

Personally, I’m quite eager to see how Evolution achieved this. I wonder if tour events completed with the normal difficulty will be displayed differently, or maybe they will grant dedicated accolades. Of course this is just my personal speculation. We’ll have to wait for further details in the near future.
