Driveclub Video Shows Spectacular Collision Physics and Effects, Flipping Cars

on June 15, 2014 10:09 AM

One of the elements of Driveclub that Evolution Studios and Sony didn’t show much of is collisions. Today a video appeared on YouTube, courtesy of user TheGOOD Kyle, giving us a glimpse on the game’s collision physics and effects.

The video showcases a Ferrari sending a RUF against a wall and flipping it over with an effect that looks definitely realistic and spectacular. Unfortunately the follow-up isn’t very immersive, as the RUF straoghtens on its four wheels and marches on.

While we already knew that there’s no crippling damage in Driveclub, so the ending of the scene was pretty much to be expected, the crash itself is really spectacular.
