Driveclub Will Support Select Racing Wheels According to Sony

Racing fans will have plenty of options to look forward to come this fall, with the upcoming PS4-exclusive Driveclub set to be one of the biggest racing games to arrive this holiday. Luckily, if you happen to like racing wheels, you will have a few options (but not many) when it comes to hitting the road with a genuine wheel.

Over on the European PlayStation Blog, Sony has confirmed that the new T80 and T300RS wheels from Thrustmaster will be compatible with Driveclub, though no other wheels were mentioned as being compatible in the post, leaving out many options from other companies, such as Logitech, due to issues with a security chip.

However, in the blog post, Sony community manager Jamie Brayshaw did mention that other wheels could open up to compatibility with Driveclub through patches and updates, mentioning that “we’ll continue to add support for other manufacturers’ wheels as and when they become compatible with the PS4.”
