Driving Simulator 2011 Might Be The Last Sim You’ll Ever Need

From the team that brought you Farming Simulator 2011, one of the best sims I’ve ever played with one of my favorite narratives, comes Driving Simulator 2011. Yes, most sims feature driving, but who needs them? You’ve got it all right here. Notarzt Simulator? We’ve got an ambulance on the cover. Euro Truck Simulator? More like Euro Butt Simulator. Buses? You know we’ve got those. We also have cops and street racers, so you can toss your copy of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. And if you want some hardcore sim racing, there’s no better place to look.

I thought Gran Turismo 5 was packed with content, but this is significantly more impressive. I only hope that the game can deliver on the narrative front. It’s got a lot to live up to as the successor to Farming Simulator 2011. The multiple driving styles would give a great opportunity for a multi-branched story, perhaps even a non-linear narrative.

The game’s out already, and you can get it here. Hopefully this game’s plot will warrant another trip into Sim Purgatory.

In the meantime, if you haven’t been sold on this game’s amazing list of features, you can hit the jump for some gameplay.
