on May 8, 2016 8:06 AM

Another week ended, and today is Mother’s Day, so in-between all the gaming, you better find some time to be nice to mom. And to you all, moms out there, happy Mother’s day!

This week was basically FPS week, with the reveal of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Battlefield 1, so the two most popular stories shouldn’t surprise anyone.

1 – Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Gets Official Info and Special Editions; Confirmed for PS4, Xbox One and PC

The next Call of Duty was finally introduced, bringing us to a sci-fi setting with starships, fighters that dynamically switch between atmospheric and space flight, and seamless transitions between “boots on the ground” and boots on the deck of a space carrier, in space.

2- Battlefield 1 Officially Announced for PS4, Xbox One and PC; World War I, Here We Come

Battlefield is back to the roots of modern warfare with a fairly unexpected (leaks aside) leap back to World War I. Biplanes, trenches, primitive tanks, battleships, horse charges! What more can you ask of a FPS?

3 – Forza Motorsports 6 Xbox One vs PC Screenshot Comparison: Boy, This Looks Good

Forza Motorsport 6: Apex landed on PC with its open beta. It looks fantastic, but those who decide to stick with the Xbox One version shouldn’t feel left out. It still looks great on console as well.

4 – Xbox Boss Phil Spencer Congratulates Naughty Dog for Amazing Work on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is almost out, and Xbox Division Head Phil Spencer gave credit where due, congratulating Naughty Dog for a job well done. Our Giuseppe agrees in his review. A birdie tells me that he has something special planned for tomorrow. What could it be?

5 – PS4/PS3 Exclusive JRPG Persona 5 Gets Fantastic New Trailer, Box Art and Collector’s Edition

If you’re not into shooters, don’t worry. You have plenty reasons to rejoice this week as well. Persona 5 got a new trailer that looked absolutely fantastic, and a brand new Japanese release date on September 15th. We’ll probably know the western release window at E3, and we can only hope that it won’t be too far.
