Though it released all the way back in January of 2015, Techland's zombie action title Dying Light has enjoyed a remarkably consistent player base over the past few years, with the company set to provide another year of free content to thank its loyal fans.

Techland released a new video announcing an additional year of free content for Dying Light players across PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Specifically, the studio cited that even after the game's release over two years ago, the Dying Light community has stayed strong with an average of around 500,000 players per week (with the game's all-time peak at 700,000 players back in September 2015).

Given the big userbase that the game still continues to draw after release, Techland's additional year of support will provide players on all platforms with 10 new pieces of DLC content, which is set to include new missions, in-game events, enemies, and much more.

Techland didn't provide an exact window for when to expect the first of these new pieces of DLC to arrive, but mentioned in the video that players can expect the first drop of new content "soon." Outside of the 10 new DLCs, the game will be getting a new piece of DLC (known as DLC #0) very soon that will bring some new heavily armed enemies into the territory of Harran.
