Released at the end of last month, Dying Light has already been known for its fairly steep difficulty when it comes to making players struggle to survive, and now thanks to a new update Techland is about to make that struggle even harder.
Developer Techland announced that its zombie-action game Dying Light will receive a new Hard Mode difficulty through an update to the title in March, making the challenge to survive considerably more difficult than in the original game.
Techland detailed that the new Hard Mode update will introduce more difficult night-time scenarios and enemies, alongside more limited supplies to make the night portions of the game even more terrifying than before. Techland producer Tymon Smektala mentioned in a statement that “a few gamers have already finished Dying Light and are asking for more. So we’re going to give our community a new challenge that will put everything they learnt in the game to the test. Hard Mode is exactly that.”
Dying Light is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC – the new Hard Mode difficulty will be coming a free content update for the game in March.
