Dying Light: The Following Adds Customizable Vehicles to Gameplay in a New “Weaponize Your Ride” Trailer

on January 14, 2016 12:16 PM

Upcoming expansion pack Dying Light: The Following will feature a brand new gameplay element: customizable buggies.

According to Producer Tymon Smektała:

Your buggy is going to be crucial to surviving out in the open, so we want to create an emotional connection between players and their ride. On top of the lethal weapons and upgrades you’ll be able to add, there are a lot of cool paint jobs, a number of unmistakable bobble heads and little charms to put inside, so you can really make the buggy your own.

Players can upgrade the buggy with add-ons such as flamethrowers, UV headlights and ramming bars. There are also 40 paint jobs and accessories to choose from, as well as modify the vehicles with better suspension, engine, brakes and other parts that will improve performance.
