Following a long running tradition, instead of DLC, Dynasty Warriors 7 will get a re-release called Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends. This rehash will contain new characters and game modes, and was very likely already completely planned out when Dynasty Warriors 7 initially hit store shelves. We have a handful of screens for you, though they aren't really anything special.

I'm amazed that Koei is still up to this whole Xtreme Legends business when DLC updates are so standard, but apparently, enough people are re-buying discs for them to profit from it. Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends will be available on HD consoles on September 29th. Hit the break for the screens.
