Herman Hurst of Gorilla Games kicks off the Play Station conference by introducing a live demo of Killzone 3, and prepares the audience by asking them to put on their 3D glasses. The live demo shows off the fourth level of the game, which is said to be one of many unique environments.

The gameplay footage is watermarked with "Pre alpha code," which means this game is still in some early stages of development. What we see at first appears to be some generic first-person gun action and some dual wielding, as well. The player has a jet pack of sorts to hover from area to area. The game looks real fun, especially with no need to reload.

From there, we skip ahead to see where the player is hovering in a flying vehicle, along with some AI partners, unloading on several enemies.

Killzone 3 will arrive February 2011. It is confirmed to also have PlayStation Move functionality at launch.
