E3 2011: NBA 2K12 Is On The Move

Heralded as the “best NBA assimilation ever,” at Sony’s E3 press conference, NBA 2K12
is the latest installment in the esteemed basketball franchise. I’ve played 2K11 on numerous occasions, and I have to say I agree with that statement, the game is very harsh and realistic and really can’t be played by button mashing unlike similar basketball titles like NBA Street.

During the presentation, which should off the new NBA On the Move Feature, which allows compatibility and player control with the Playstation Move, NBA icon Kobe Bryant made a guest appearance wearing a long sleeve flannel, and somewhat rudely and humorously requested that the presented, “give him the thing.” Kobe seemed to like the game, and stated that “It’s so realistic it’s frightening,” although I’m sure that’s not his first time playing. Overall, the new NBA On The Move feature looks like its well implemented, but it didn’t seem like they added much else to the franchise.
