E3 2011: Pikmin ‘Accidentally’ Released At Nintendo Roundtable Discussion

on June 7, 2011 11:21 PM

Nintendo’s own video game designer/producer Shigeru Miyamoto just revealed to media at E3 that the Nintendo development team is hard at work on a new Pikmin game for the newly announced Wii U console. The game was initially being developed for the Wii, but the development team decided it would work better on the new console. Miyamoto also stated that he wasn’t supposed to announce it officially yet, but you know how these PR gimmicks work, he probably meant to announce it right on the spot. Besides for its existence, no other information is currently known about the upcoming title.
