E3 2011 Rumor: Sony To Partner With AT&T On NGP

on June 3, 2011 5:30 PM

I’m sure by now, most of you have heard about Sony’s upcoming portable device, the NGP, or what some call the Playstation ‘Vita,’ as stupid as the name life in Italian may sound for a handheld device. IGN has reported on the subject that according to an alleged ‘inside source’, Sony has been shopping around for a developer and/or publisher and will be present at AT&T’s 3G symposium at E3 next Wednesday. Of course, Sony gave the usually shtick about not commenting on “rumors and speculation,” but there’s certainty a possibility that AT&T or another wireless provider will be involved given the device’s 3G capability. Check back for more E3 news next week at Dualshockers.
