E3 2011: Soul Calibur V Gameplay Trailer Released

In anticipation of E3 2011, Namco Bandai has just released a gameplay trailer for Soul Calibur V, which is probably one of my personal most wanted titles aside from Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I have fond memories of the Sou Calibur franchise, from nearly bashing in a casual friend’s skull with a lamp in the second installment, to nearly, but not quite, destroying some great friendships by adding some insane amounts of man-tosterone to the forth installment. And then there was the character creation mode, where I spent countless hours creating obscure characters from the Fire Emblem franchise.

Sadly, the below trailer features none of these antics, but does show off some nice gameplay, which seems to be a bit smoother from the last installment. Otherwise, it looks pretty much the same, although I’m not really digging Sophitia’s son’s character design. Check back for more information come E3.
