There are several things that are stunning about this trailer. First off, of course, is the visuals. However, these are likely not in-game shots, but rather CG sequences. Still, it looks absolutely amazing. Secondly, it seems that Lara has gotten herself in to quite a pickle at the end there, in some sort of ship graveyard. This tells me, as the trailer says, she has to survive on an island or somewhere alone. Finally, it’s stunning because of its emotional content. Not a lot of trailers grip you emotionally, and this one did. You actually felt for her. My heart literally skipped a beat when she tugged at the bandage on her wound and screamed.
Hit the break to check it out. Unfortunately, we won’t see the title until Fall 2012, but maybe we’ll get some more info on it during E3, as it is one of the titles SquareEnix will be talking about.
