E3 2012: Assassin’s Creed III Demo Video Gets Commentary, Explains Design

Remember that great-looking (despite the blocky trees) demo of Assassin’s Creed III showcased at E3 that featured the assault on the british fort?

Today Ubisoft published a commented version of that video, with Creative Director Alexander Hutchinson sharing a bit of insight on the design of the game.

There are quite a lot of impressive features, between which the ability to fight and move seamlessly on uneven ground and the new battle animations. My only regret is that stealth seems to have taken a bit of a back seat to brawling action. Hopefully there will be areas of the game in which it’ll still be prominent.
