E3 2012: New Final Fantasy XIV Artwork Showcases the Future of Eorzea

A couple days ago Paul posted a batch of new screenshots from the 2.0 version of Final Fantasy XIV. Today we get a further glimpse on the future of Eorzea with a few pieces of beautiful concept artwork featuring environments, equipment and new monsters.

The game has already gone a very long way since its problematic launch, and 2.0 promises a further radical improvement and a completely new world to play in.

Personally, as someone that enjoyed the game a lot even in its incomplete stage, I can’t wait. You can check out the artwork yourself below, and actually notice that the lettering of the title has changed in the copyright notices on the bottom right of each picture. Now the “I” in the numerals is bigger than the rest. New logo incoming?
