E3 2012: Sleeping Dogs Interview Showcases the “Cop Side”

on June 9, 2012 1:07 PM

One of the aspects of Sleeping Dogs that didn’t receive much attention and coverage so far is the so called “Cop Side”, or the investigation activities that the protagonist will have to perform in order to accomplish his undercover mission. I guess it wouldn’t make for exciting trailers as much as gunfights and car chases.

Square Enix Members Community Manager Robert Peeler interviewed the producer of the game Dan Sochan, prompting him to explain more about the life of Wei Chen as a policeman and a few other aspects of Square Enix’s challenge to Grand Theft Auto‘s supremacy in the genre.

You can check out the ¬†full interview below. Personally, I’m excited, if anything because Hong Kong is really a great setting for this kind of game.
