E3 2013: Stream PS3 Games to Your PS4 in 2014 via PlayStation Cloud Service

on June 10, 2013 11:38 PM

At this evening’s Sony E3 press event, a few things were mentioned about their purchase of Gaikai and the streaming technology that comes with it. The PlayStation Cloud service will be launching in 2014, sometime after the PlayStation 4 officially hits the market, and will allow you to stream PS3 games to your PS4 via the PlayStation Network.

It wasn’t mentioned which games would be available in this manner, but that they would be “critically acclaimed” PS3 titles. No price was mentioned, either, but we can possibly assume it will come along with your PlayStation Plus subscription, but nothing is yet confirmed in that department. It will also be coming sometime in the future to the Vita.
