Today, the ESA announced that the E3 2017 Consumer Pass has officially sold out.As you may know, E3 2017 will mark the first time E3 has been open to the public (though a press pass has notoriously always been easy to snag). Tickets to the event were limited to 15,000 and went on sale on Monday, February 13th for $250 USD ($150 as part of an early bird-like discount available on February 13th).The news of the tickets being sold out came via the following tweet from the ESA:

Notably, this means E3 will be crowded with an extra 15,000 attendees this year. How having an extra 15,000 attendees present will turn out...well only time will tell.

E3 2017 is set to take place June 13th - June 15th.
