Today David Jaffe and his team showcased a play testing session of the E3 build of their upcoming free to play PS4 exclusive Drawn to Death on Periscope, and you can see a recording just below, showing quite a lot of spiffy gameplay.

Jaffe mentioned that the game will probably launch with five to seven characters (even if a final decision hasn't been made yet), but they will increase with time. Afterwards, he talked on how Sony received the idea of steering clear from pay to win.

"It was really good to find Sony... The Idea that they were very receptive and promoting the idea of not doing free to play as pay to win. I don't think we would have wanted to make this game if it was sort of a traditional pay to win."

Jaffe also explained that the studio is not naive, so they're still looking for the best ways to monetize, but still, "there's nothing more important than the core game."

Asked about the possibility of a single player campaign, he also explained that he'd love to tell stories in the game's world, but the game is definitely launching as a multiplater only title.

The video also shows a look on the "kid's hand," which seems to be definitely powerful.

Without further ado, you can check out the video below. Unfortunately it's from Periscope, so the quality and the aspect ratio are what they are, but it's still a nice glimpse.
