Let me guess, you're totally surprised at the fact the EA has announced a soccer game to launch in conjunction with this summer's 2010 World Cup. Ok so you're not surprised, well you know what, neither am I. Normally I'm not to fond of the milking of a franchise and or license, but come on, it's the World Cup! I mean, even Americans become soccer fans for a few weeks (until the U.S. gets eliminated) but hey, that says a lot! In normal, World Cup video game fashion, you can expect this title for every single platform on earth. The game will hit shelves on April 27th in the U.S. and April 30th in Europe and Asia. None of the stats or rankings have been released, but I'm thinking Spain and Argentina, are probably the two best teams in the games, and because it's a video game the U.S. actually  has a chance at beating either of them. Zing! Check out some screens of the defending champions Italy below.
