EA Origin’s On the House Program Offers Jade Empire: Special Edition Free for a Limited Time

Bioware has made their mark on gaming with the likes of Mass Effect and Dragon Age, though older fans may also remember the studio’s exceptional Jade Empire from 2005 on the original Xbox, and now those that have yet to dive in to the martial arts-themed RPG can do so for free on the PC.

EA Origin’s “On the House” program, which offers users free games on a monthly basis, is currently offering Jade Empire: Special Edition to Origin users free for a limited time on PC, following previous games offered through the service such as Dead SpaceDragon Age: Origins, and numerous others.

Jade Empire: Special Edition was previously appearing as free on the EA Origin store several weeks back, though numerous users (including myself) had trouble trying to add it to their library: in this case, it seems like Origin maybe jumped the gun a bit and had it free as an error, though this time around the game is indeed free and you can add it to your Origin library today.

Jade Empire is available for Xbox 360, Xbox, and PC – click here to head over to EA Origin and grab your copy of Jade Empire: Special Edition while it’s still on the house.
