on October 31, 2011 2:30 PM

As the mobile gaming market continues to become a reality and not a passing trend, Nokia announced at their Nokia World event that it would be receiving 20 new games to its Windows 7 lineup of phones, all published by EA.

Ten of these games will be made by EA themselves and ten by their indie publishing brand Chilingo. Nokia Series 40 users will also get 40 games for free, and Hasbro will have a lineup of 7 games for various Nokia phones.

This time, we’ll be designing our games for an awe-inspiring experience on Windows Phone for Nokia […] It’s a big win for Nokia’s consumers worldwide

It was not specified if the games would be exclusives, ports or would later come to other phones. Nokia finally seems to come to its senses and try to get a share of this ever growing market. Is it too late to get in the game or does it still have a chance? What do you think?

Isshak started gaming with the NES, and has owned almost every console since then. He was born in Togo, grew up in Benin, studied in the US and now goes to college in France! You don't get more international than that, and his weird cultural background is reflected in his favorite games, which range from Final Fantasy to Bit Trip Runner to Dead Space to Deus Ex!
