Publishing giant EA announced recently during the 2013 Stifel Technology Conference that the company will continue to produce and publish games for current-gen systems through 2017. The announcement came straight from the mouth of the company’s chief financial officer, Blake Jorgensen.
The company has already unveiled new titles such as Battlefield 4 and Need for Speed: Rivals, alongside numerous sports titles from EA Sports including FIFA 14, NHL 14, Madden 25, NCAA Football 14, NBA Live 14 and UFC. All of the aforementioned titles are being produced for current-gen machines including the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Mirror’s Edge 2 was also recently rumored to be a real thing and the company recently signed an exclusive deal with Disney to publish Star Wars games.
