Today, Thailand-based developer Pixel Perfex released a brand new trailer for its side-scrolling "monster-hunter" Earth Atlantis to show off even more gameplay, but also to announce the game as a playable title at this weekend's PAX West in Seattle.

If this is the first time that you're hearing of Earth Atlantis, here's what it's all about. Taking place in a future where "The Great Climate Shift" has ended almost all surface life, humanity has taken refuge in the depths of the world's oceans. However, that's not the only thing living in these waters. The machines have evolved to this new ocean lifestyle as well, and they have taken on some dangerous forms. It is up to you to hunt down these monstrosities and upgrade your abilities for civilization to survive in this new environment.

Earth Atlantis has been announced for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It is expected to launch sometime later in 2017. For more information on the game, you can visit its official Steam page. If you're looking for the game's new trailer, you can find it below.
