Following a few teases today about an announcement, publisher Sekai Project has launched The Eden of Grisaia in the west for PC, available now with a 10% discount for its first week.

The Eden of Grisaia concludes the game's first trilogy of releases in the west, after the publisher hosted an extremely successful KickStarter for the project back in 2014. The game suffered delays after encountering various technical issues during localization, but it seems the publisher and developer Frontwing have fixed all the issues preventing the game from launching.

The publisher details the game's premise:

He thought life at the academy would never change. Everyone marched forward in the same direction, matching step for step; before he knew it, he began to surrender to that illusion. He believed that he would only arrive at the same place if he continued down the same path as everyone else. Then he realized. Just as there are as many paths as there are people, no two paths are identical.

It's assumed that the 18+ patch for the game will receive a release shortly. Also, it's advised that players play both of the previous games before jumping into this one.

Recently, Grisaia: Phantom Trigger launched in the west as well. This is a continuation of the series that doesn't necessarily have any ties to the previous trilogy other than sharing locations.

Additionally, we got the chance to interview the president of Frontwing and talk about the Grisaia trilogy and the studios upcoming games.
