Edyn’s Escape Is An Interactive Movie Prequel to Hellraid

For those of you hungrily awaiting the debut of the co-op hack & slash horror adventure Hellraid, developer Techland (Dying Light, Dead Island, Call of Juarez) has an interactive experience that will not only introduce you to the world of the game, but promises a special reward for those who see it to its conclusion.

“Edyn’s Escape” takes place two weeks before the start of Hellraid, taking place in a monastery overrun with hellish monsters and starring a monk, the eponymous Edyn. The goal of the experience is to help Edyn get out alive: those who make it to the end will get a special reward (should we assume special DLC?).

You can start the experience below, with the first video of the prequel. Hellraid is set to release by the end of the year to the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC (later for the PS4 and Xbox One), with four available classes and a complex, pen and paper-inspired AI system. For more on the game, check out our DualShockers Hellraid coverage, and check out the Hellraid website.
