During the presentation of the Nintendo Switch from Tokyo, Bethesda Softworks officially announced the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for the console.

The game was announced directly by Game Director Todd Howard via a video message, which you can see at the bottom of the post.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was actually used to introduce the console in its first reveal trailer a couple of months ago, so this confirmation is not exactly surprising.

Howard mentioned, among other things, that Bethesda is really excited to work with Nintendo, praising the fact that the Switch is both "classically Nintendo" and innovative.
