Elodie Yung, the actress most recently known for her role as Electra in Marvel’s Daredevil, has been announced as one of the playable characters in Call of Duty: WWII‘s Zombies game mode.

Yung will be playing Olivia Durant, a character who will fend off the undead and likely have her own part in the Nazi Zombies narrative. The announcement also mentioned that Yung will reveal her character at San Diego Comic Con on stage.

Yesterday the official Call of Duty twitter announced that David Tennant, known for his roles in Doctor Who, BBC’s Broadchurch, Harry Potter, and Marvel’s Jessica Jones. Further announcement will follow in the next few days as the countdown to San Diego Comic Con, and the reveal trailer for Call of Duty: WWII‘s zombie mode, which was partially leaked yesterday.

Yung’s work in Marvel’s Daredevil was dark and brooding, though she showed that she’s comfortable in an action role. The show also took a turn towards a sort of Lovecraftian sci-fi plot, which should fit right into the Nazi Zombies motif.
