Empire Online Goes to U.S.

Lakoo, a developer for iPhone, Android and other various mobile games, has announced today that their iPhone MMORPG, Empire Online, will be making its way over to U.S. on January 15th. Wait, that’s two days from now! U.S gamers will be joining the ranks of over five million Empire Online users from Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and Australia when the game hits the iPhone App Store in a few days.

Build your own kingdom, obtain territories and battle across numerous world maps. Fight together in parties of up to five for some turn-based action, or even get some PvP time under your belt. Once you jump into Empire Online, you’ll need to create an avatar from one of five classes – warriors, kung-fu fighters, wizards, hunters and sh’amans – and four races – Eastland, Nordic, Atlantis and Maya. You will be able to learn skills as your progress through the game that are designed for other classes. You’ll also collect power-up gear for your avatar along the way.

“The Lakoo team has been anxiously awaiting Empire Online’s expansion into the North American market,” said Kin Ko, CEO of Lakoo. “We can’t wait to give English-language players the keys to the kingdom. You won’t believe how many MMO elements we can fit on a smartphone.”
