End of Eternity Receives a Release Date

on October 22, 2009 9:30 PM

I love Tri-Ace and I love RPGs.  This time, instead of teaming up with Square-Enix, the Star Ocean developer is teaming up with none other than Sega.  End of Eternity (which will be known in territories outside Japan and Resonance of Fate) is shaping up to be one sweet-looking action/RPG and you know my hands are going to be all over it when it finally comes stateside.  In the meantime, however, Sega announced an official Japanese release date for the title, and that would be January 28, 2010.  There still remains the “Spring 2010” release window for North America, so let’s hope it gets a release in English-speaking territories not long after.

Keep in mind that this is only about five weeks after Final Fantasy XIII ships in Japan, so hopefully people won’t be burnt out on RPGs, because this new IP definitely deserves a chance.
